Dan Priddy's musical journey began at the age of seven when he began teaching himself to play piano. He quickly moved on to guitar and bass but his passion lay in the drums. His father was a virtuoso guitarist and bandleader in the London area and his mother was an aspiring model, so his artistic roots were apparent from an early age. Dan Priddy progressed rapidly on the drums, playing in several bands as a teenager. This knowledge of rhythm transferred to his keyboard skills which can be seen in his percussive playing technique, and at the age of 18 he started writing songs. He began recording these songs, at each stage developing his knowledge of production and started a live band to establish himself as a front man. He later set himself the task of solely producing his first CD. Today you hear the product of his journey so far. At only 21 years old, Dan Priddy has over 80 songs in his repetoire and has produced and played all instruments on the album. He has also designed and put together all the artwork to make the album as personal as possible. The rhythmic sound of White Lies & Alibis serves notice of the eclectic mix of Rock, Funk and R&B music which has influenced Dan Priddy since his childhood.
